After the death of his spiritual father, Yogi Adityanath became the head priest
of Gorakhnath Math and the Hindu temple, Gorakhpur. It was Yogi Adityanath who
discovered the "Hindu Yuva Vahini" which gives importance to the
Hindutva ideology. Yogi Adityanath is a prominent agitator and hard worker. He
played the role of a distinguished campainger in the 2017 Uttar Pradesh
Assembly elections. He left his home to participate in the Ram Mandir movement
in 1990 and became an agitator. Impressed by Mahant Adityanath, the chief
priest of Gorakhnath Math, Yogi Adityanath did all these things. Later after
the death of Mahant Adityanath, it was Yogi Adityanath who took over the post
of chief priest of Gorakhnath Math.
Early life of Yogi

Yogi Adityanath was
born on 5 June 1972 in Panchur village in Uttar Pradesh, which is now in the
state of Uttarakhand. At the time of his birth, his childhood name was Ajay
Mohan Bisht. Yogi Adityanath's father's name was Anand Singh Bisht. Yogi
Adityanath's father Anand Singh Bisht was a forest ranger. Anand Singh Bisht
died on 20 April 2020 at AIIMS Hospital in Delhi. Yogi Adityanath could not
attend his father's funeral even due to the Corona epidemic. Yogi Adityanath
has four brothers and three sisters. Yogi Adityanath is the second of his seven
sister-brothers. Yogi Adityanath became fully active in political after
obtaining his Bachelor degree. Yogi Adityanath received a bachelor's degree in
mathematics from Hemavati Nandan Bahugun Garhapal University. From his early
life, Yogi Adityanath participated extensively in Hindu programs. Yogi
Adityanath promoted Hindutva. In 1990 he participated in the Ram Temple
movement. Yogi Adityanath Mahant considered Adityanath as his spiritual master
(father). Therefore, he took his name as Yogi Adityanath. Later Yogi Adityanath
lived in the costumes of a monk and also became the chief priest of Gorakhnath
Math. He played an important role in the Babri Masjid and Ram Temple dispute in
Ayodhya for years. He participated in the Ram temple movement in Ayodhya. After
this, Yogi Adityanath went into politics. He made a successful career in
politics. Yogi Adityanath has been a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative
Assembly five times in a row. After this, Yogi Adityanath was elected as the
Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh in the year 2017. Ram temple was built in
Ayodhya only during Yogi Adityanath's chief minister's tenure. Prime Minister
of India at that time was Narendra Modi.

politics after his bachelor's degree. During his schooling, Yogi Adityanath
participated in many movements and gatherings. Yogi Adityanath participated in
the Ayodhya movement in 1980. Yogi Adityanath joined the Bharatiya Janata Party
(BJP) and the Sangh Parivar at a young age. Scholar christophe jaffrelot said
that Yogi Adityanath is associated with a particular Hindutva politics in the
state of Uttar Pradesh. Mahant Digvijay Nath who handled the Babri Masjid case
on behalf of Hindus in 1949. Yogi Adityanath was called by Mahant Digvijay and
asked to participate in Hindu Samaj Sabha. Later Mahant Digvijay and Mahant
Adityanath got tickets to contest in Parliament. In 1994, Yogi Adityanath
became the Mahant of Gorakhnath Math and continued to do religious work here.
Yogi Adityanath was elected a member of the Lower House of Parliament in the
Lok Sabha for the first time in 1998.
Yogi started the Hindu Yuva Vahini after
Yogi Adityanath became a Member of Parliament. Yogi Adityanath is a

Initially, Yogi used to be disconcerted between Adityanath and BJP party

Leftist parties to oppose the Mejoim. Yogi Adityanath encouraged the Maghesi
leaders to oppose the Mejoise.

the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh for the first time in 2017. Yogi Adityanath
played a key role in the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. Yogi Adityanath
was a distinguished campaiger and campaigner from the Bharatiya Janata Party in
the 2017 election. On 18 March 2017, Yogi Adityanath became the Chief Minister
after the Bharatiya Janata Party's victory in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly
elections. Yogi Adityanath was sworn in as Chief Minister on 19 March 2017.
During his chief ministerial tenure, Yogi Adityanath was the first to shut down
illegal slaughterhouses.
